Identity Confusion
Me Myself and I…
Sometimes it’s all so confusing as Me and Myself try to merge into “I.”
Its a tango that Me and Myself do very well, but as soon as I comes into the picture, the tango becomes a battle of the “TRIO”
I wants everything revolved around her. I want, I need, I mush have, I don’t have, I can’t, I won’t… And it never stops.
Gosh!!! The energy input creates such a traffic jam of emotions and before you know it, there’s a huge pile up.
I know you have the need to feel important, hey you human after all and that is a very important need for most humans. If you really look with inner eyes, each person has the phrase “I AM IMPORTANT” inscribed on their foreheads. How could you have missed it!!! Its there….
Right now you may have diamond studs adorning your ears and you hearing bits of what’s passing through, but that’s all you doing. Do you ever listen? Not hear; but LISTEN.
When you really take the time to listen to what another human being is expressing, you’re no longer thinking about I, you go into “serving.” Serving is the most honorable state of being. How can I be of service to someone else?
This brings me to a very important aspect. In order to serve, we have to be full on the inside, and that means taking loving tender care of YOU. It’s not where the world revolves around “I” but where I am taking care of me, I am not making anyone else responsible for my feelings, I am not blaming naming and shaming. I am filling myself up so that when I serve others I do it from my saucer and not the cup, the cup holds the contents and the saucer, the over-flow. Serving from the over-flow means your cup is always full, you not running on empty, and that means you always in a harmonious serene state of flow.
Become aware of how you are experiencing life. Is it a daily Drama of sorts between the three parts of you called ME MYSELF and I or is it a beautiful relationship of depth and spirit where your heart is open to the joys of life, the lessons of challenge and the gratitude which should be expressed everyday in every way.
I invite you to immerse yourself in the wonder and possibilities of an amazing life where each one takes the responsibility to make the space we live in a harmonious and peaceful one. Extend your tolerance levels a tad and look for the good in every situation. With a focus like that, your experience of life literally changes, and the constant struggle no longer hangs around. Life become blissful!
Go ahead, start changing your inner world, one bit at a time and your external world becomes enriched on every level.
When you are no longer operating from “I,” you begin to notice the world is bigger than YOU…
